The Lincoln Institute of California houses four distinct and independently run programs. Any views, opinions, or actions expressed by one program should not be attributed to the other. Please be aware that any communication or interaction with one program does not imply or establish a relationship with the other.
As a 501(c)3 organization, the Lincoln Institute does not endorse, support, or oppose any political party, candidate, or issue. We remain neutral on all matters related to politics and education, and our organization operates solely for charitable and educational purposes. We hope that our wide range of program offerings encompasses various interests of the next generation.
Activism
The Project 307 program is necessary in ensuring our freedoms remain alive on our campuses. This venture covers every aspect of on-campus outreach by transforming and guiding student activists. Project 307 hosts up to 10 events per year.
Mental Health
New Way Out is dedicated to changing the way our country views mental health and advocate for real change within California’s legislation. Launched in 2024, NWO is aiming to host 3 events in 2025.
Leadership
The Future Leaders of California is an initiative to cultivate and identify the next generation of young leaders in California. Our mission is to help young Californians realize their full potential and bring California leadership to the forefront in the U.S. FCLA hosts 4 events per year.
Media
Our mission is to empower the individual with the truth to hold the powerful accountable. We want to break down the barriers of disinformation and share world news in a simple, yet effective, manner.
Career Mentorship
Institute Connect is committed to empowering California students and bridging the gap between eduction and industry. Our goal is to forge close collaborations with professional partners who share in our mission. Institute Connect hosts 10 networking events per year.
Fellowship Opportunities
The Lincoln Institute is seeking dynamic and creative students to join our team for Summer & Fall 20204. This is a fantastic opportunity for any current college or university student who is passionate about California, pop culture, activism, and politics! All Fellowship roles are required to work 5-10 hours per week with hybrid opportunities available.

Responsibilities:
-Monitor and identify trending topics and content ideas on social media.
-Incorporate trending topics into the Institute’s social media accounts.
-Assist with creating visually compelling graphics using Canva or Adobe Illustrator.
-Collaborate with the Communications Director to ensure brand consistency.
-Contribute creative ideas that align with the Lincoln Institute's mission and branding.

Responsibilities:
-Write and develop compelling articles that discuss current news in California and on college campuses.
-Develop an engaging monthly email newspaper that shares popular news stories and upcoming student events.
-Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and generate new ideas for content.
-Conduct research on relevant topics, trends, issues, and news to ensure all content is produced in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
-Help coordinate student events. This includes organizing guest speakers, inviting student leaders, and assisting with set-up.
-Communicate and work closely with stakeholders and donors.
-Maintain student research database to ensure that communication is reaching current students across California campuses.
-Meet with students and mental health groups to establish relationships.

Responsibilities:
-Passionate and interest for hands-on experience involvement in a political campaign. This activist role is in collaboration with our network partner, OC Community Action Network.
-Work closely with the team at the OC Community Action Network to learn their mission to spread awareness for the social and political issues facing regions of Costa Mesa.
-Responsible for interactions with city residents and business partners. This can be done through social media communications or in-person meetings.
-Assist in phone banks & door-knocking and planning community events.

The Future Leaders of CA program is designed to identify and mentor students across the state's universities, fostering their growth into on-campus leaders.
Responsibilities:
-Cultivate relationships with universities and community colleges in Southern California to identify students in on-campus leadership roles.
-Gather comprehensive information on identified students, understanding their leadership experiences, aspirations, and impact on campus.
-Facilitate events that support leadership development and networking opportunities.
-Actively engage with university stakeholders, student leaders, and community partners to enhance the reach and impact of the program.
